Professor Charles Mackworth-Young

Prof. Mackworth-Young graduated from Cambridge University and St. Bartholomew’s Hospital. His training included posts at the Brompton Hospital and Hammersmith Hospital and two years as a research fellow at Tufts University New England Medical Center, Boston, USA.

His clinical and research interests include connective tissue diseases, antiphospholipid syndrome and osteoarthritis, and he has published widely in these areas. He has interests in research ethics and peer review, and is Professor of Practice at Imperial College.
