Mr Roland Morley is a Urology Consultant at King Edward VII's Hospital and a fully registered medical practitioner, with Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degrees from London University St George’s Hospital Medical School. {{ label }}
He served a cadetship in The Royal Navy as an undergraduate, following graduation, spending 8 years with The Royal Navy and then gaining my fellowship of The Royal College of Surgeons of London in 1989. Roland spent 3 years training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, before undertaking research in uropathological aspects of female stress urinary incontinence, commenced urological training on the Wessex urological rotation, and was finally appointed to a consultant post at Kingston Hospital NHS Trust London in 1998.
During his appointment at Kingston hospital, Roland served as clinical lead, divisional director of surgery and Director of medical education, developing a national reputation in incontinence surgery. He moved to Imperial College Healthcare in October 2015 as a consultant urologist in female, functional and reconstructive urology.
Roland’s special areas of interest are female and functional urology with reconstruction (including benign prostatic surgery), paediatric urology and gender affirmation surgery. All of his practice is now devoted to these areas and he has published widely in these areas.
