Mr Dunne is uniquely trained in all aspects of facial plastic surgery with specific interest in face and eyelid surgery. He is the Clinical lead at Imperial for skin cancer and Founder of Imperial Facial Reconstruction Centre
Mr Jonathan Dunne is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at King Edward VII's Hospital specialising in Facial Plastic Surgery, Skin Cancer and Head & Neck Surgery. Mr Dunne is the Founder of the Imperial Facial Reconstruction Centre, a multi-specialty collaborative providing expert care, and leads the Imperial Plastic Surgery Skin Cancer service.

Mr Jonathan Dunne is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon with 15 years of experience. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Plastic Surgery).
Mr Dunne trained in Bristol, Yorkshire, Sydney and Malawi and completed specialist training in Plastic Surgery in London hospitals including Chelsea & Westminster, Royal Free, St George’s and Charing Cross. He is uniquely trained in all aspects of facial plastic surgery, undertaking two further years of fellowships in minimally invasive facial skin cancer treatment (Mohs Surgery), head & neck microvascular surgery, facial palsy, oculoplastic surgery, and craniofacial and aesthetic surgery. His further training in facial plastic surgery was completed in Melbourne, Boston and Stockholm, and aesthetic training in London hospitals including the Wellington, King Edward VII’s Hospital, the London Clinic and St John and St Elizabeth’s.
He co-authored the Oxford Handbook of Head & Neck anatomy, has authored more than 50 publications and book chapters, and is regularly invited to speak at international meetings on facial plastic surgery and skin cancer. He is the Chief Investigator for an international study on desmoplastic melanoma and the Principal Investigator for the international MelMarT-II melanoma trial at Imperial.
Mr Dunne is passionate about Plastic Surgery education and development in resource-poor settings, and is a trustee of the Malawi Burns Trust and a member of the national committee for BFIRST (British Foundation for International Reconstructive Surgery & Training).
Mr Dunne published on the impact of COVID-19 on microsurgery training.
