Mr. Reynolds is an internationally recognised complex spinal tumour surgeon able to provide a complete scope of care for all extradural spinal pathologies.
Mr. Jeremy Reynolds is a distinguished Consultant Spinal Surgeon at King Edward VII's Hospital. {{ label }}
He currently serves as the Clinical Lead for Oxford Complex Adult Spine Surgery and the Spine Lead for the Oxford Sarcoma Service. Previously, he held the positions of Clinical Lead for Spinal Surgery at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust and Regional Clinical Lead for the Thames Valley Spinal Network.
Mr. Reynolds earned his medical degree from Bristol University in 2000. Following this, he completed his Basic Surgical Training in Bristol and Surrey. His advanced training included a prestigious 12-month fellowship in Vancouver, Canada, at one of the world’s few centres where orthopaedic and neurosurgical spinal disciplines are fully integrated. This fellowship provided him with comprehensive training in all aspects of cutting-edge spinal surgery, allowing him to blend orthopaedic and neurosurgical techniques to optimize patient outcomes.
With a strong commitment to research, education, and knowledge translation, Mr. Reynolds has been an active member of the AOSpine Knowledge Forum Tumour since its inception. He has served as a Steering Committee Member for five years and was recently elected to chair this esteemed international group. AOSKFT is at the forefront of spinal oncology research globally. In his roles as Tumour Module Chair for both the Global and European Spine Diplomas, Mr. Reynolds promotes new, evidence-based concepts to the wider spinal community.
Mr. Reynolds has secured several grants to support his research into patient-focused approaches to spinal oncology care, with a particular interest in personalized consent. His dedication to advancing the field through innovative research and education underscores his leadership and expertise in spinal surgery.
