Mr Pasu completed his schooling at the Perse School, Cambridge before going on the read medicine at Guy’s, Kings and St.Thomas’ in London. He subsequently went on to complete his ophthalmology training in London working at both Imperial College Healthcare Trust and Moorfields Eye Hospital. {{ label }}
During his training, he dedicated two years fully to research and was awarded a Doctorate in Medicine (Research) from University College London. He was selected to complete his fellowship training in Medical Retina at Moorfields Eye Hospital.
Mr Pasu specialises in cataract surgery (performing over 600 surgeries a year) and treats a variety of retinal conditions, including: age-related macular degeneration (AMD), diabetic eye disease and retinal vein occlusions. He continues to perform numerous intravitreal injections and retinal laser therapy.
He is the current Clinical lead for the East Sussex Diabetic Eye Screening Programme (DESP).
As well as continuing to publish in reputable medical journals, Mr Pasu is a keen and respected educator. He is a senior clinical lecturer for Kings College London, and enjoys being a surgical trainer for junior doctors at his local trust in East Sussex.
